Developmental Pathways
The cognition curriculum is split into 3 developmental pathways
- Foundation Curriculum: Developmentally pupils working in this strand will be functioning at the cognitive level of a child aged 9 months to 5 years old
- Entry Curriculum: Developmentally pupils working in this strand will be functioning at the cognitive level of a child aged 5 years old to 8 years old
- Developing Curriculum: Developmentally pupils working in this strand will be functioning at the cognitive level of child aged 8 years old upwards
Each of these curriculums is then broken down into overarching objectives.
The overarching objectives are outlined in the Key Stage Plans.
