Preparing for Adult Life
Sixth Form provides a bridge between school and adulthood.
Building on the knowledge, skills and experiences developed throughout Key Stage 4, students are supported to become increasingly confident, independent and prepared for life beyond school.
Learning is personalised and reflects each student's strengths, aspirations and EHCP outcomes.
What Does Learning Focus On?
Learning in Sixth Form focuses on helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for adult life.

Students are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for themselves, their learning and their future.
Employability and Independence
Students have opportunities to develop practical skills, workplace behaviours and experiences that prepare them for future education, employment and training opportunities.
Alongside this, students continue to develop the everyday skills needed to live as independently as possible and participate actively in their communities.
Planning for the Future
Throughout Sixth Form, students are supported to explore future pathways and make informed decisions about their next steps.
Preparation for adulthood remains at the heart of learning and helps ensure every young person is ready for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
